I have now managed to finish my solo piano CD
'Piano for a Blue World' I hoped to complete a series of CD's but
sadly my Rheumatoid Arthritis is affecting my wrists and fingers so
badly at the moment it looks like this could be my last ever CD.
If so I will try to continue writing and find other people to record
for me.
The CD contains 4 of my originals plus 11 of the most
beautiful romantic classics ever written. Composers include Chopin,
Liszt and Debussy.
If you would like to order a copy please get
in touch through the contact page (until I have officially released the
album)
If the emotional
ambience of Piano for a Blue World
is sad and reflective, then this CD is joyous and invigorating.
It is 90% Chopin with 2 or 3 guest composers (Tchaikovsky
Schubert, Weber), dropping in for a
welcome visit. 'Waltz-time is the predominantly featured
rhythm which perfectly encapsulates the Viennese influence of
the 'Golden Age' of romantic piano composition.
Here is my long awaited re-released Ragtime CD which has a whopping
30 tracks including 3 of my own compositions and old favourites
like The Entertainer, Maple Leaf Rag, Elite Syncopations, The Favorite, Palm Leaf Rag, The Whitewash Man and Dill Pickles.
